ロマン・コッポラ✕ジェイソン・シュワルツマンのショートフィルムが
「FOUR STORIES」というシリーズのなかで、公開されています。











この「FOUR STORIES」という企画は、
W HOTELと、Intel Ultrabookをモチーフにした脚本のコンペティションらしいです。
集まった脚本の中から4本を選び、
ロマン・コッポラと彼の所属するプロダクション（THE DIRECTORS BUREAU）が、
今、勢いのある若手ディレクターなどを選び、ショート・フィルムを作るというものです。

THE DIRECTORS BUREAUには、ウェス・アンダーソンやソフィア・コッポラ等も所属しています。

 "Loved its warmth in dealing with contemporary ideas in regards to relationships and the internet. In contrast to the others, it had a more narrative approach that I thought was very well done." -- Roman Coppola

Winning Screenwriter: Amy Jacobowitz
Amy Jacobowitz graduated from UCLA in 2011 and works in PR for an advertising agency in Los Angeles. Filmmaking has always been her first love.

Why it was chosen: "This story had a graphic quality that drew me in. The lack of dialogue gave it the feeling of a silent film driven more by cinematic ideas than narrative exposition. It was also on the shorter side, which was a nice attribute, allowing the story to be more visually told." -- Roman Coppola 

Winning Screenwriter: Ben Sayeg
Ben Sayeg is a Brooklyn-based freelance filmmaker. Having studied film at University of Westminster in London, he has been involved with Upright Citizens Brigade Theater's web comedies and is documenting Knitta, the group of artists who began the "knit graffiti" movement, where public architecture is wrapped with knitted or crocheted material as an art form.

Why it was chosen: "The script had a surrealism and intensity that stood out amongst the others. I found it appealing that the story was adventurous and the conclusion can't be predicted." -- Roman Coppola

Adam Blampied is a student at the London Academy of Musical and Dramatic Arts. He writes and performs for the sketch comedy troupe, The Beta Males.
